Masala Chai Bowl
For when you crave a mug of heartwarming chai, but technically it’s still summer.
day 165 since the pandemic: we took a week to unplug and take a break in maine. it was great.
every day started with homemade blueberry muffins and warm chai lattes.
and of course, we are back with more inspiration than ever.
meet the Masala Chai bowl — for when you crave a mug of heartwarming chai, but technically it’s still summer.
p.s. naturally, we used @samovartea masala chai for the bowl — it’s the best!
Here’s the recipe:
1 1/2 frozen banana
1/4 cup brewed masala chai (we used Samovar Tea’s chai mix to make a latte)
2 dates
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp vanilla protein powder (you can also use 1 tsp vanilla extract)
Add as much of the latte as needed to get the blender going.
The toppings:
Almonds
Chia seeds
Coconut shreds
Granola
